It’s a television program created in order to support the social work realized by Óptica Almanzar concerning the reforestation and the environmental conservation, with a view to protect the visual health and the environment of human beings.

Mundo Verde which is programmed every Sunday from 09.00am to 10.00am, presents the situation of the environment in Dominican Republic, shows the condition of our forest, our rivers and steams, and, at the same time, explains how the government authorities handle this life space of the human beings.

On the other hand, Mundo Verde offers alternative actions and solutions aiming to improve the environmental conditions in Dominican Republic and in the whole world, through:

• Educational programs that we carry out through the town halls and the cooperative of all the country. Coordinating conferences about global warming and the climatic changes, promoting and carrying out reforestation operations in the basins, sides and sources of the most important rivers of the country, with the authorities, the cultural clubs, the universities and the churches of the country.
• A program of a donation of a tree to each client that visit the Óptica Almanzar branch offices.
• Finally, with the creation of our Fundation Óptica Almanzar, to see well in a green world. Thanks to this program, you can collaborate to the expansion of this wonderful plan, participating in an active way to our reforestation operations or depositing your collaboration on the bank account Number 054-70736-3 of the Banco Popular Dominicano.
