República Dominicana Fashion Week 2009 (RDFW09), is the most important event of the national fashion world, and will welcome for the first time 37 local designers, 7 internationals, and 10 new faces of the design.

RDFW09 will take place in the Sans Souci harbour of Santo Domingo.

Rakim & Ken-Y The Royalty World Tour 2009 in the Malecón Center, Santo Domingo

The urban music fans will be able to see for the first time in the country the singers Rakim & Ken-Y, famous in Dominican Republic thanks to their songs like Down, Llorarás, Igual que ayer and Me matas.

The Portoricans artists will be at the Malecón Center (5th stage) on june 6th, for their tour The Royalty World Tour 2009, during an unforgettable concert.

Organic Coffee Festival in Polo, Barahona

The sixth edition of the Organic Coffee Festival will take place on june 6th and 7th, in Polo, Barahona, and will welcome national and international artists.

Puerto Rican artists Andy Montanez, Wilkins, Danny Rivera and Nelson Gonzalez are coming for the shows this year.

Dominicans Victor Victor, Manuel Jimenez, Sexappeal, Patricia Pereyra, Manuel Jimenez, Bonye, Pochy Familia, Ileana Reynoso, Milagros Hernandez, Grupo Maniel, Club Nacional de Soneros will go to sing too.

R.I.O. Shine on, in Santo Domingo and Santiago

R.I.O. Shine On and Charlie in Concert at the Teatro La Fiesta of the Hotel Jaragua, on June 06^th, and at Santiago on June 05^th.

The German group, directed by Neal Antone, will come to meet its dominican fans.

De Janeiro, Space, Children of the Sun and When the Sun Comes Down and the hit Shine On, will be one of the many songs the band will offer in these concerts.

Bravo Entertainment announced the presentation of the Extreme Air Feestyle Motocross, the most impressingshow of free jumps in the world, June 27^th in the Olympic Stadium Félix Sánchez.

Motorcycle riders who will realize daring stuntings, fireworks and sounds will delight audiences.

Coming for the show are Mike Metzgler, who jumped the fountains of the famous Cesar Palace in Las Vegas. Food & Fashion 2009, Hilton Hotel, Santo Domingo

Saturday 27 June we will enjoy once again of the Food & Fashion festival, organized by Luisa Feliz and the Buen Vivir productions, and event during which the gastronomy and fashion will meet in an harmonious way.This year will be dedicated to the Foundation Friends against Childhood Cancer.

Starting at 10.00 am in the modern installations of the Hilton Hotel Santo Domingo, a serie of activities will be offered for all the family, like speeches about nutrition, wine tasting, a coffee bar and delicious dishes elaborated by professionals of local food. For kids, there will bea special programm organized by the Mercasid enterprise and the children celebration store Celebremos.

This amazing event will be composed by six spaces where we will be able to enjoy the creations of the chiefs Jacqueline Henríquez, Leandro Díaz and Luiggi Puello, and the oenologist Carmen Cataldi. The Chiefs Giancarlo Bonarelli, Lilian Sanchez, Arleen Rivera andMaría del Carmen Bonarelli will be rewarded for the professional skills.

The present audience will be able to discover the last culinary tendencies, at the same time i twill learn how to cook delicious meals, and enjoy tastings, a wine list and products of the sponsors of fashion and food worlds.

The closing of the event will take place with the accessories show by the Santiago designer Rafael Rivero – who will donate 15 per cent of his sales to the Foundation – and the show of modern clothing by the fashion boutique Arman and Helen.
